optical device slot load VS tray load

Generally speaking,optical disc drives(ODD) has two load type:Tray load and slot load.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of these ODD?
Tray load
Advantages:
*support 8cm and 12cm size disc
*cost less than Slot load
*If it dosen't work,stick emergency hole and take out disc
Disadvantages:
*dust easily come into drive and shorten the drive life time
Slot load
Advantages:
*most slotload drive can't support 8cm size disc
*Compare to tray laod drive, more easy to use
*Has a soft brush to prevent dust into drive laser head and expend the lifetime of drive
Disadvantages:
*once it broke down, can only take apart the drive to take out the disc
*cost more than slotlaod.
